Red-whiskered Bulbul

Common Name: Red-whiskered Bulbul (locally known as Sipahi Bulbul or Kushon Bulbul). It is named for the bright red patch (whiskers) located just behind its eyes. It also features a vivid red vent beneath the base of its long tail. They are exceptionally common in the northeastern forests (like Lawachara National Park, Satchari National Park, and Rema-Kalenga Wildlife Sanctuary in Sylhet division).
