Pin-striped Tit-Babbler

Mixornis gularis

The bird is a Pin-striped Tit-Babbler (Mixornis gularis), locally called Dagipit Babbler, captured while splashing energetically during a bath. It features olive-brown wings, a yellowish underside with narrow dark streaks, and a chestnut crown. In Bangladesh, this lively songbird is a common resident found within the dense undergrowth and streamsides of mixed evergreen forests across Sylhet and Chittagong divisions.
