Siberian Stonechat

Saxicola maurus

This small bird is a male Siberian Stonechat (Saxicola maurus), locally known in Bangladesh as সাইবেরীয় চটি (Siberian Choti) or কালোমাথা চটি (Kalomatha Choti). It is a common winter migratory bird that flies south to Bangladesh to escape the harsh northern winters.
